About Project Lyme

Partners & Collaborators

No single organization can solve the Lyme disease crisis. Our partners — in research, advocacy, healthcare, and philanthropy — make the whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Project Lyme's collaboration pillar is made real through our partnerships with research institutions, patient organizations, healthcare systems, and corporate partners who share our commitment to progress.

Research Partners

Our funded research is conducted at leading academic medical institutions, including:

Yale School of Medicine

Collaborative research on early diagnostic biomarkers for Lyme disease, led by the Department of Infectious Diseases.

Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health

Next-generation sequencing approaches for direct pathogen detection and Lyme disease epidemiology.

Tufts Medical Center

Immunological research on PTLDS, including characterization of immune dysregulation in persistent-symptom patients.

Patient Advocacy Partners

We work alongside other Lyme disease organizations to amplify advocacy, share resources, and ensure patients have access to the widest possible network of support. Our partnerships are governed by a shared commitment to evidence-based information and patient dignity.

Healthcare System Partners

Project Lyme works with healthcare systems and clinical practices to improve care navigation for Lyme patients, distribute educational resources to providers, and develop clinical referral pathways.

Foundation Partners

We are grateful to the foundations whose support makes our work possible. Their partnership reflects a shared belief that Lyme disease is a solvable problem.
