Executive Leadership
Katherine Morrison
Executive Director
Katherine co-founded Project Lyme after her daughter's three-year diagnostic odyssey with Lyme disease. She brings 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience and a deep personal commitment to the mission.
David Chen
Director of Research Programs
David oversees Project Lyme's grant-making programs and research partnerships. He holds a PhD in epidemiology from Columbia University and previously worked at the NIH's National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases.
Maria Santos
Director of Patient Programs
Maria leads our education, community, and advocacy programs. A licensed social worker with a specialty in chronic illness, she is also a Lyme disease patient who brings lived experience to her work.

Managing Partner at Whitfield Capital. Committed to the Lyme mission after his brother's decade-long struggle with persistent Lyme symptoms.
Dr. Linda Park
Board Treasurer
Chief Financial Officer, Northeast Medical System. Brings nonprofit financial governance expertise and clinical context to Project Lyme's board oversight.
Rachel Thompson
Board Secretary
Partner at Thompson & Rivers Law. Specializes in nonprofit governance, healthcare law, and patient advocacy. Former board member of the Patient Advocate Foundation.
